Promote respect
Contribute to maintaining the local economy
by recruiting locally. Whenever possible, we prioritize the recruitment of local or regional candidates.
Ensure the sustainability of our expertise
We are involved in the transmission of our expertise
- by the technical support during the onboarding of our new recruits
- by offering apprenticeships to enable the next generation of winemakers to learn
- By occasionally strengthening our teams for the grape harvest and winemaking, we offer a real-life experience to young graduates, and this time of exchange allows them to mature in their professional path.

Our Team
Team work… A state of mind!
We are particularly pleased to introduce you to the women and men who work at the estate throughout the year, whether it snows, rains, the wind blows or the blue sky unleashes a storm!

Jesson V. et Logan H.
Seasonal winemakers
Jesson and his cousin Logan, live in Garchizy in the Nièvre, and take part in seasonal manual work such as pruning the vines, debudding, training vines…
Both enjoy life in the great outdoors and seeing nature evolve over the seasons.

Lucas A.
Tractoriste
A “genuine” Nivernais, he is originally from Châtillon-en-Bazois, where his parents are farmers. From a very young age, he naturally participated in the work of the farm, driving tractors and agricultural machinery.
He took up residence in the commune of Saint-Andelain, and is the closest to the estate, geographically speaking.
This rugby enthusiast, with the size needed for this sport, handles the machine’s joystick with delicacy and carries out all the mechanized work in the vineyard (shredding of vine shoots, phytosanitary treatments, trimming, harvesting).
One can also find him in the workshop, equipped with a ratchet wrench or a screwdriver and busy adapting the machinery for the clearance needed to work the soils.

Mélanie M.
Winemaker service provider
Originally from the neighboring department of Cher, she crossed the Loire to settle with her husband, Manuel, in Saint-Laurent-l’Abbaye (one of the 7 wine communes of the AOC area of Pouilly-sur-Loire).
Manuel introduced her to viticultural work and she participates with enthusiasm throughout the vegetative season, when everything is active and we need to be alert on all fronts at once and on all plots, caring for the vines.

Pedro da S.
Seasonal winemaker
Originally from Porto, Pedro now calls the Nièvre region his home in Donzy.
He brought in his suitcase the sunny accent of his country and rolls the “R” as the Atlantic Ocean rolls the pebbles on the beaches of Vila Nova de Gaia!
Our Loire undoubtedly reminds him of the Douro river where he spent his childhood. He is in his natural environment to provide the gestures, repeated a thousand times, for taking care of our vines during periods of peak activity (pruning, disbudding, tying, maintenance of trellising, planting…).

Florian R.
Tractoriste-Caviste
A native Nivernais, Florian is originally from Bouhy, where he practices the beautiful profession of ‘peasant’ on the family farm, following in the footsteps of his parents.
Accustomed from a very early age to driving large agricultural machines, he comes to lend us a hand during peak periods, in the full vegetative season of the vine, when soil maintenance requires all our attention.
A BTS in agri-food production and work experience in a dairy (farm of the Abbey of La Pierre Qui Vire at Saint-Léger-Vauban) have given him solid foundations in hygiene in the food environment. When the need arises he knows how to assist us in the cellar, with reflexes that he has not lost!

Antoine V.
Multi-Skilled Junior Winemaker
Due to his studies in management and business creation (Ecole de Commerce) and his professional background he had lived in the Paris region until now, but a branch of Antoine’s family is based in the neighboring department of Allier and he also wanted to be geographically closer.
Passionate about the world of wine (graduate of the Ecole du Vin, WSET 3), Antoine was first a wine merchant for 4 years.
Full of curiosity, he chose to satisfy his thirst for knowledge about wine production by practicing with winemakers, to learn the essential steps of viticulture and vinification by working for 5 years in different vineyards in France. (Bordeaux, Côtes du Rhône, Côtes Roannaises, Touraine).
Antoine’s choice to retrain was ‘made from the heart’ and for lifestyle reasons, he joins the estate team as a multi-skilled wine merchant.

Philippe D.
Winegrower Service Provider
He is “the local” as he is originally from Les Loges, one of the iconoic wine-growing villages of Pouilly/Loire. Philippe was immersed in the Blanc-Fumé all his childhood and adolescence, participating in the work on the wine estate of his parents.
Working as a wine service provider in the Pouilly vineyard, he is in charge of pruning, disbudding and lifting work and is, like the scouts, always on call to lend us a hand.

Manuel M.
Tractor Provider
Originally from Nievre and living in Saint-Laurent-l’Abbaye, Manuel was formerly a pigeon breeder and as such, supplier of very beautiful star tables. That is to say he appreciates the “beautiful work” and has a taste for good local products!
Retrained to conduct mechanized tasks, he works in our vineyards to carry out all the mechanized work, such as the shredding of vine shoots, maintenance of soils in the Burgundy manner (buttage, debugging, scratching), the crushing of headlands and mowing the inter-row grassstrips. We can find him at the controls of our high-clearance tractor or busy in the workshop with the assembly of agricultural tools
